Happy New Year!!

I am so sorry, I have been terrible to update my site lately. I promise to get better in 2010!
The babies has now grown, and they are 5 weeks old now. Sadly my camera is broken, and Santa did NOT give me a new one for Christmas!!! -Even though I had been such a good girl... ;-) Well, I will try to keep you updated anyway.

We have had a wonderful fairy-tale Christmas holiday this year with LOADS of snow! I wish all of you a Happy New year, and all the best for 2010

We are so proud! Indigo was nominated at the WW-show in St. Gallen!

I have dreamt of a solid blue oriental for as long as I can remember...
Now my dream has finally come true!! Thank you Èva for this oppurtunity!

A chapter has ended...

My FANTASTIC breeding queen, Lilly (San-T-Ree Caramel Doll) has been neutered. She was my very first breeding queen, and she has given me 5 absolutely wonderful litters! She has given other breeders cats with a very special look to work with. I am so proud of her, and I am going to keep breeding her lines with her daughter Sun d'Soleil.
Thank you Lilly, for all your wonderful kittens!! Now you can enjoy your life as a pensioner, and as a grandma!

The kittens are now 8 weeks old, and growing fast! I will update the kittens-page soon with more photos.

Soleil BIS!

We went this weekend to my club Agderkatten's show. Sol was nominated on Saturday, and on Sunday too. On Sunday she was even BIS!! Kitty also came along, and was nominated on Sunday. I am quite pleased with the results, because there were many beautiful cats in competition.

Rendzos babies!

Rendzo has fathered his first litter! The babies are born in Gothenburg, at Cattery S*Twist n Shouts. They are all healthy and well-made ;-)
We congratulate Rendzo and the mother Felis Elegance Blues in the Night. We are also looking forward to Rendzos second litter being born very soon!

New shoes!

I have been on a few days holiday in Dublin, and I did some shopping of course. One of my great shopping-finds was these wonderful Hello Kitty -ballerinas!! They were so cute and comfy, I could not resist

Long time since I have updated the news... But this time the saying 'no news is good news' doesn't apply.. Kitty lost her babies, and tragically had to be neutered. It was so sad. Mino has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. No comment, just tears. Not a single day goes by without thinking and remembering him.
My lovely Poppy has also been neutered, but that was no accident. It was decided upon after the recognition of her not being a good breeding cat.  She has already moved to a wonderful pet-home. Kitty will of course stay here all of her life, and be the best baby-sitter ever!
There are also some good news; We decided to keep little Soleil, Mino's daughter. She will hopefully bring some sunshine into our cattery

From Russia with love!!

Finally he is here, our Russian black prince, RU*Shegumy Neko Rendzo. He is the result of collaboration between Helen Ljungreen (S*Twist nShouts), Caroline Stoa (Coco Chanels) and myself. He will be living here at BatStar cattery.
Thank you so much to Nataly (RU*Shegumy Neko) for all your hard work, and willingness! He is SO worth it all!

I am introducing Lilly's litter of 3 gorgeous kittens! They have all got names that are associated with summertime. Why?? They are born in the middle of the winter! Well, perhaps that is excactly why.... We are longing for the warm summer!

We have Babies!

Poppy gave birth to 2 kittens on Saturday! I had calculated terribly wrong, ha ha! Fortunately my husband was home. We have one black oriental girl, and one black-spotted tabby boy. Both healthy and sweet. They opened their eyes already on Monday, so I will not take pictures with flash. Pictures will come soon.
Since I have no pictures of the kittens, you can enjoy one of Kitty instead, taken today. More info on the kittens on the kittens-page

Our pregnant girls!

Our girls, Arja & Poppy are pregnant!! Arja is due the 22nd of November,
and Poppy one week later. Arja has been mated with Kattilan Corkscrew Charlie, and Poppy has been mated with Mino. Look at Plans for more details. Inquries about the litters are welcome.

We are proud of

-Bosse's sister Kattilan Naturally Blonde with her success! She entered and won the Norwegian Championship in Category IV, in Stavanger last weekend! She is still a youngster, but beat the other cats anyway.

Arja has most likely become pregnant with Kattilan Corkscrew Charlie! She is not big, but are showing signs of pregnancy. We hope of course that this is true.

Hacked Homepage!!

For those of you who visited my HP last week, and got a shock; It was hacked!! I got an e-mail from a breeder-friend telling me my site was probably hacked. When I checked it out, I was so shocked by the horrible sight and slogan "Fuck you Armenia" -accompanied by a picture of some weapons...

To all of you who either felt offended or got skeptic; It has been taken care of now. I have done some checking, and the stupid hacker behind this, belongs to a group of Turkish hackers who are very active, taking control over innocent pages, like mine.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused!

We are hoping for results... Anyway, they had a lovely time together ;-)

I still can not really believe that this is true; Kattilan Windy City Kitty has arrived at my cattery!! This cat is a gift from Eeva! I can still remember visiting Kattilan's web-site just to look at Kitty... I think she is one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen, and now she lives here!!

Now it is definetely autumn.... The very warm summer, and indian summer-nigths has left. Why I am so sure? Because finally all my girls are calling!! 

Let's hope we will succede with our planned matings!
Bosse was out for a stroll in the garden today, in the nice autumn-weather. He is still enjoying his youth!

The boys reached their 9th week on Saturday. They keep growing, and are changing appearance every day! New pic's on their Kittens site.

A long time since I have updated now, and I am sorry!! Lilly's boys are growing, and we are waiting for Arja to start calling! New pictures of the boys in the Kittens-page.

Polly has moved to a very nice, little family in Stavanger! She has company; Angelo, a siamese neutered boy. They fell in love the first day, and they have already become best of friends!

Today Polly Peanut is actually 12 weeks old! -And she is not small like a peanut any more! She has become a pretty little lady...

The boys are now 3 weeks old, and they are starting to socialize! There is such a good atmosphere now in the cattery, it is just amazing! Both Lily and Poppy keeps nursing the boys (!) and everybody is friendly to each other. Polly has just realized that she might get someone to play with soon,and she sleeps together with Lilly's boys, waiting for them to grow up!

I was 33 on Sturday, and Helen Ljunggren (Twistn'Shout's cattery) came all the way from Sweden to celebrate my birthday! We had a good time! All the cats too!

Yesterday Lilly gave birth to 2 wonderful boys!! This is Mino's first litter at BatStar cattery, and they will of course be named with appropriate Italian names. I just have to think a little bit about what Italian theme... I am not sure of the colours yet, but it looks like blue and chocolate, of course they are spotted!! Lilly has once again proven that she must be homozygot for spots. -My lovely Mrs spot-a-lot!

I am so happy that boozer and Mino has become best of friends! Mino is so kind to him, and they play and sleep together.
Lilly is quite big now, and is just lying around in the heat, wating for her kittens... I believe there are something between 3 and 5 kittens. I am very excited about this litter with Mino.
